thank you adder you put it perfectly why lose 1st gear? 4.10 would be like driving an old dump truck (one that pulls wheelies) youd be taking off in 2nd all the time

because with 4.10s it will be extremely short.

T5 4th. gear ratio is 1:1, 5th. is .68:1....do the math. A 4.10 set of gears in 5th. would be ~ like driving in 4th. gear with the OEM 2.73 gears.
