not sure but i would think with a 347 you might have to clear the rod bolts for the cam i know thats a must on a 383 chevy along with notching the block
ya you do. and on some 331 kits you have to. i had to notch the walls on my 68 block to fit my 331 with h-beam rods. but with my new boss block, the same stroker kit went into that block with no notching needed
