small 3G alternator?

small 3G alternator?

has anyone used one of these it is a motorcraft small 3G 130 amp max, 60 amp at idle with a one wire hookup and if so where do you hook the one wire to

the 1 wire would go to the hot side of the starter solenoid

dont want to sound stupid but where is that, the coil thing on the drivers side where the battery cable is connected to
