Default voltage problem? or is it?

hey guys, got a dumb question. i just installed an electric fan and im wondering if its pulling my volts down too much. when i start up the car (1965 mustang completely new wiring) the after market volt gauge (not accurate) is showing 14 volts when i turn on the fan the meter drops to 12 volts if i turn on the ac it drops to about 10 volts. i have a brand new Powermaster 140 amp alternator one wire. the cars seems to be running ok just alittle worried if im pulling too much. oh and i have two small radio amps that pull about 25 amps. when the internal voltage regulator in the amp kicks on the radio "pops" any ideas please!
Thanks
Johnny

Need to know how things are wired, particularly the fan and voltage gauge.

A lot of the factory wiring was undersized even for back then, so you add a few things that pull from circuits that are too small and you get a voltage drop. You can wire a **** ton of relays to a circuit like that for the coil side, because they operate even with very little voltage, and the voltage may show low; but the actual power/switch side of the relay may be 14.5 or whatever.
