the kit comes with guide plates, and plastic inserts that actually have tighter clearances than normal guideplates and would also be quieter since there is no chance a metal pushrod is clanging around between a metal guide. take note that regardless of length, hardened pushrods are required for this type of operation and you can pick up a set of comp's or crane's for like 30 bucks.
