Tranny Question!

Hey guys, i'm looking to pick up an 85 5.0 but it's got a blown tranny. I have a tranny out of a 93 2.3 lx. Are the two trannies compatible? If not, which ones are?

you can use a 4banger tranny on a 5.0 you will need a different pilot bearing and the gear ratios are funky.. but it works

The T5 will work but I'm not sure about the Auto tranny. A 5.0 Had an AOD but I dont know what the 4 banger had.

It's a A4LD i believe... any suggestions? If not this, how hard would it be to just slap a C4 in there?
