my new inners didnt come with a new rivet, the papers that came with them said it was an improved design that didnt require them and they havent come lose in the past year. not sure what they changed to make the rivet unneccessary though.

ORIGINAL: FASTBLACK

Maybe the degree of difficulty depends on experience, but i swear, i think anyone could do itwith no problem.
Expiereinece wast the issue. Its just a pain the the ... to get at the lines/ reinstall them and line up the steering shaft while pushing the rack on by yourself. If you have someone to help its not as big of a deal, but by yourself its a pita.

Default RE: Replacing inner tie rods (UPDATE)

Thanks for all you guys' input. Specially, 00limited7. It was not difficult at all, just scary going into something not familiar with. Took me 2 hours start to finish, thats draggin all my tools out and setting up on jack stands, to cleaning tools and putting all back in there place. Especially thanks for the rivet tip, had I not known to look for that, well I still might be there workin on it, lol. I took photos as I did the work, so I will post the work with photos for anyone it may help. Thanks again guys.
