Default car stalls

Hi I have a 90 GT wich is having the same problems as some others here with the irratic idle. I am going to replace the IAC tomorrow and see if that helps.

The other problem I have is my 90 GT 5 speed will stall when putting in gear. I can hold clutch to floor and put shifter in 1st and the car will die, without letting the clutch out. Could the IAC have something to do with this stalling? Any help with this would be great.

Or the EGR, or vacuum pressure, or throttle body position, it could be a number of things, im having the same problems too, but my idle is now at like 2000 rpms, i think i have a vacuum leak

1st thing to do is clean the IAC valve or ISC motor(whatever you wanna call it), its on the throttle body, just take it off and clean it with brake cleaner. Then check your TPS voltage to ensure it is where it needs to be. You can also spray carb cleaner around all your vacuum connections, vacuume lines, and egr valve to ensure you have no leaks (your idle will change if you spray on a leak).

Ok I cleaned the IAC and the throttlebody and checked for vacumm leaks but none. The car is still doing the same thing. Any other ideas of what to look for?

Check your tps voltage.. key on engine off it should read .96 - .98 volts. Be sure to ground through the plug too. Its kinda hard to check it cause you gotta do it inline. I make jumper wires from the plug to the tps and check voltage from the jumpers.
