if you watch tv late at night there is a infomercial that comes on and it's called "engine restore" made by I think durabond...that claims to add 30 to 40 percent of lost compression back to a motor by filling in scratches in the cylinder walls!! no joke the product really exists!!!!!! lol lol.......anyway..best way is rebuild the motor/ overhaul it

engine restore does work, and work well. but its only a bandaid, you have to add it to your oil every oil change. you could add that and some thicker motor oil, but expect your mpg to drop some. restore is at any autoarts store. what is your compression anyways? have you actually checked it? or is it just feeling sluggish?

Engine restore wouldn't do a thing if compression is being lost through the valves. But, yeah, have you or have you not done a compression test? Assuming you have, you need tofollow witha wet compression test to figure out where you're losing pressure. Only then can your question be answered. Good luck.
