Should have posted it here first but, i know a 5/8-11 course thread bolt will thread in to the back of the heads after you take off the metal smog line, but what if you yank it off and the hole isnt 5/8? Does that mean anything?

I dont think you'll be able to tear it out....just take out the two 1/2" bolts that hold it in....what do you mean the hole isnt 5/8's it has to be....unless there is the little sleeve thing in it like the front of the heads which there shouldnt be but that is a 7/16's bolt that goes in there....
