I've heard it from my tuner too, who's local and drag races his Cobra quite often. I don't just believe everything I read on the internet.

Pro, I know what you mean about getting used to the clutch. After I installed my Spec stage 2 it was like leaning how to drive stick all over again. After a week or so I mastered it but every else that's tried to drive it just stalls it right out several times before finally getting it to move lol.

Sorry Pro5.0SC, I was in between classes and deleted the wrong one.

Onyx,

I have heard tuners who say that GT-40 heads are better than AFR's and Trickflow products.

I have heard tuners who say that C&L is the only way to go with MAF's and plenums.

I have heard tuners who say that 1.75" headers are WAY to big for a 347 cubic inch engine.

I think you get where I am coming from. Do not just believe what a person says or what the new soup is for the day[8D]

Many tuners and regular enthusiast will often just take-up for parts they sell or have on their own vehicle, and degrade any other product being inquired about.

Nah you make plenty of good points and the same can be said for almost anything on the market. i was simply saying I didn't just "read it online" and believe it. I've heard people bitch about Spec clutches not fitting, chattering, etc. and mine is totally perfect in every way, so it's true you can't always go by what people say.

There are so many combinations out there, what works for one, won't always work the same for another. That's why there are so many different opinions.
