AOD to C-4 swap

RE: AOD to C-4 swap
First off you need to know if you have the large or smaller bellhousing on the c4. IF you have the larger one you can use the same flexplate because it would be a 164 tooth plate. If you have a small bellhouseing it will be a 157 tooth plate.
very simple unbolt the bell housing and measure the depth of the bell housing
5 7/8 is a small bell 157 tooth
6 1/4 is regular bell 164 tooth
7" is a c5 bell 164 tooth
There are also 2 different disticks, a pan fill and case fill, that is obvious when you look at your trans.

Yes, as long as you motor is the original 90's motor. 82 and up have 50 oz fly's while 81 and before and all 351's have 28 oz. Just be sure that when you do get your flexplate that it will bolt to the converter correctly and the drain hole lines up in its hole. Also, be sure to fill your conv. before you install it or you will have to run the car with the rear in the air until it fills itself up. Be sure to upgrade that thing with a higher stall too so you can have some fun with it. IDK about what rpm, maybe about 2000rpm stall or so, kinda depends on your upgrades but like I said I'm not to educated on that aspect yet. Still learning like everyone else.
