thanks. i am thinking about rebuilding and i dont know how big to go. summit has rotating kits that go to .60. does anyone have any suggestions on what size is the easiest to work with?

take the block to a machine shop and they will reccommend a bore based on any out of round or taper they find and or ridge at toof bore... most likely it'll be 4.030

actual bore is 4.002 so yeah 4".
I wouldn't recommend going .060" on a 302. Maybe .040" at the most.
.030 overbore will make it a 306 and .040 overbore will make it a 308

yea i know .060 is pretty big. that doesnt leave much inbetween cylinders.

yeah .060 is way to big....doable but deff. not recommend.. 30 over is the safest way to go
