RE: Surging Idle when cold!!!
Sorry guys haven't had time to work on it yet. Thanks for all your replies. I'll try everything that has been suggested. I forgot about that other sensor, i'll clean that up. I'm also replacing the fuel injectors and mass air sensor this monday 03/10/08. I will lit you all know how it goes. plus while i have the intake off i'm gonna replace all the gaskets and clean everything. Hopefully one of these will fix it.
But i'll tell you what, if this doesn't fix it, anyone wanna buy an 89 gt mustang. Hahah jk. I don'tgive up that easy. Thanks againeveryone.

RE: Surging Idle when cold!!!
Hopefully this is tha last post I will do on this subject.
Just FYI for everyone who wants to know. I took the throttle body, egr spacer, and manifold off today. Cleaned everything up really good. Started off by putting a new Air charge temperature sensor on, thennew 30lb fule injectors on( I realize over kill for a stock stang, but had a 2 year old mass air sensor calibrated for 30lbs collecting dust). I put new gaskets on and fixed acracked vacuum hose. then put everything back togther. Car fired right up and idled like a brand new car. Hopefully it fixed it. Pretty positive it did, just have to wait and see though. Make sure the carisn't just teasing me.
The car did have a cracked fuel injector, and was pretty dirty. I honestly think it was the mass air sensor, but not sure what exactly fixed it. All i know is something did.
Thaks for all your posts and your help!!!!!!! Next project is replacing tranny and exhaust on my other mustang.
