Default how much exhaust do i need?

ok, im needing to replace my buck shot mufflers so now might be the time to get a quality system. do i only need to get cat-back system or the whole damn thing from headers to tail pipe? i want to get bassani brand either way. and if i get just cat-back system will my stock front pipe be ok for future mods?

you can get whatever you feel like spending. the whole systme (headers, mid pipe, cat back) will offer the most gains but you dont ahve to do it all at once. you can bolt a nice cat back up to your stock midpipe and it will free up horse power and make it soud wayyyyy better.

the stock headers are only 1 1/2" and the stock h-pipe is 2 1/4"

what you want are 1 5/8" headers and 2 1/2" exhaust from cat back

so yes it will all work , but you will be restriced anywhere you have not opened it up

a pinched straw is hard to drink through no matter big it is

CORRECTION:: exhaust will only had gains when you've had other upgrades under the hood.

not true you will see gains from a whole exhaust system because it will open up your engine and let it breath thus making more power although your only gunna see a very very small gain from the whole system you will make more power for the other bolt ons you do after. either way new headers mid pipe and cat back will wake the car up a bit and sound a hell of a lot better than it does now
