yes they are aluminum....ya ive worked on cars befor i love working on them...just my 1st time working on mine...ive pulled my buddys ls1 a couple times...but ya...it was pretty simple compared too the ls1 lol

well im low on money rightnow...but eitehr way w.e intake i go i have to get it milled 50 thousands to fit....but im prolly gonna jsut get my stock intake milled until like end of april...but we will see
