Default need help real quick

havent taken a t5 off a 5.0 before so dont think im a rtard do you use a motor plate? like on a auto do you have to use one? i dont have one so if i need one could i just use washers in between the block and bell housing?

a flex plate? yes you need one. The one that goes between the motor and flywheel correct? OR are you talking about taking the trans out do you have to support the motor? In that case you should put atleast a jack under it if you have stock motormounts. IF you are only replacing the tranny, you can take the 4 bolts out of the tranny that attach it to the bell housing and remove it.
