Default who's done the 3g alt swap?

Yesterday i did the swap, and everything works great. I followed this link to a "T" http://www.mustangcentral.net/tech/alternator.htmlThis article doesn't say anything about upgrading the alternator ground. My question is should i updgrade the alt.ground using the 4gauge wire also. If so how do i do that?

Raises a question for me too. I read the article, though I installed a Powermaster 140 AMP alt, I only used the one wire install method that came with the alt. I just tied/taped up the stock connector, put the one wire on the alt bolt and then to battery. There were no other connection points on the Powermaster. Am I missing something???

The alt is grounded through the case where it's mounted. No real need to do anything w/ it. I would/and have upgraded the vehicle ground. Strap from the block to the frame.

Most likely, but why would you go to all this trouble and stop at the very end. The ground is one of the cheapest/easiest things to do for the conversion.

Good grounds are one of the most hidden performance and maintenance upgrades.

I have taken resistance values of every Ground this car has, and ended up replacing and modifying, dam near all of em to get em to 0000.

Some had values of 1.23, .947, .009, etc.

After that the car performed like an animal. And Im slammn jams without the headlights dimming, or radio cutting off.

That's one of the first things I did was add ground from the block to the ground tag on the passenger side firewall. Guess I'm covered too, thanks.
