Problem with a 3.8 to 5.0
Just dropped in a 5.0 into 83 3.8 with hedman full length. Should collector on driver side be pointed so a straight pipe would clear a hump in crossmember? This one is into floor board and would need a inch or so offset to clear floor. The cross member is stock from 83 and motor mounts are stock out of 83 5.0 donor car (hatch). Shouldn't this work or do I need conv. mounts or different cross member?
