alright i took the stang to the dyno today and was kinda upset with the numbers here is what i have

95 5.0 t-56 6speed
stock 302 bottom end freshened up
svo aluminum heads (same as gt-40x)
1.60 rr
steeda #19 cam
typhoon intake
70mm tb
75 mm mass air calibrated for #24 inj
#24 injectors
chrome bbk longtubes
off road h-pipe
mac catback
upr cai
fuel pressure is at 41
timing at 16 base
stock computer with NO tune

it put down 262 hp and 285 torque at the wheels does this sound right?
not bad...I have a friend whose put down 268 rwhp and runs 12.90's on a good day and consistent 13.0's @104-105 ish so your right in line with what you put down vs what you run

well sorry i need to change my sig that was my old car. i was doing some digging and i think the dyno i used is not reading very accurately. im gonna go back to the drawing board. im thinking about changing to a different intake prollya cobra because i dont like the postion the adapter put the throttle body. i have to find another driver side valve cover to put on the passenger side cuz it would clear the fill tube and i dont like not having another evac system except the pcv valve. dono yet just an idea. also the heads have had some port work done to them to what extent im not sure thats how they were when i bought them. i do know they match a 1262 gasket. i was told the steeda cam works good in these cars. i have been pretty satisfied with the performance it feels a lot more than 262 hp the torque climbed pretty quick i believe it was at like 250 at 3000 and pretty much just climbed to 285 then started falling at like 5500

Dyno numbers are for nothing other than bragging rights and measuring your e-*****. Take it to the track, and see what it does. That will tell you what you need to know. Prime example, a buddy of mine has a stock block 347, track heat heads and intake,in his full interior 93 fox with A/C, power windows, blah, blah, blah...all the bells and whistles. On the dyno it made about 350rwhp through a C4.

It's a wheels up, consistent 7.30 1/8th mile car, with more left in it. Don't get too caught up in dyno numbers.
