Go with a 5 speed- you wont regret it.
I just had my POS AOD swapped out for a T5 and it makes the car alot more fun to drive.
Not completely true. I got a manual valve body (slap shifter) on my built AOD, and I think it's more fun than driving a stick, unless you're in the city all the time. Then it sucks equally as bad especially with 4.10 rear. The tranny likes to heat up a bit, if you are just sitting in traffic, shifting between 1st and 2nd for a half hour straight. but nothing serious after installing an auxillary tranny cooler. . I also have a trans brake in mine for tire peeling launches at 4,500 RPM's. Of course, that can run into the thousands real quick if you're paying someone to do you're tranny.

I'm gonna have to agree with him on this... T5's are fun, but I wouldn't bash an auto unless you've experienced a built one. I swapped back to my T5 just because I like going through the gears, but as far as fun factor a built auto vs a T5... both are great. Stock auto's do suck badly, but a built auto is a whole different ball game & they can be built for pretty cheap if you know what you're doing.
