Default What do I need for Fox to SN95 motor swap?

So my frame on my White 90 Hatch is rotting out and my motor is out of my motor is torn down due to head gaskets. My mechanic tells me id be better off getting a new rolling chassis then to try and repair my rotted out foxbody. What i was wondering was what do i need to swap my motor, tranny and rear end into a 1995 SN95 body? Iknow with the 94, it can only use that 94 tranny. Is this true in the 95 as well? Im wondering because money is tight right now and i found a 95 SN95 thats set up for a 5.0 with no motor for $750. Will i pay out the *** for extra parts ill need to do this swap rather than just using another fox body? thanks - Jay

Quick answers a must, i need to tell this guy ASAP!

itd be easier and cheaper in the long run to just get another fox imo.

You should be able to run the sn95 trans and rear... I can't think of any reason that would require swapping them...
Actually the rears are different widths between the fox and sn95, so you'd be better off with the sn95 rear.

To swap the motors, you would just need to replace the long block.
I would use the sn95 ecu, wiring, etc. but that's just me...

Shouldn't be tough at all, but I haven't done much with sn95's,
good luck,
jason

Cheapest and fastest route is to stay with Fox platform. It is very easy to swap everything over to the SN but you will encounter little things that will add up to a good bet of money.
