fordstrokers make awsome shortblocks, so far everything i have heard is great.
10.5:1 on 93 is fine, with a longer duration cam, 11:1 is ok.

Gonna be tough to get 450-500np N/A without a solid investment on your part...that much hp n/a and that big of a n20 shot is way beyond the limits of a stock ford production 302 block, much less one stroked to a 347..look into one of the big boy blocks (Dart, World, Boss ) DSS (Level 10's and 20's are based on STOCK blocks[:@]) or something along those lines....AFR heads, probably still need to port them out....as for the tranny, a properly driven tremec can withstand wonders...its the powershifting to save 1 or 2 tenths that kills them...good luck...and props for sticking with the manual trans idea...im the same way...ill take 400 hp in a stick car vs. 700 in an overstalled (for the street) auto...just for fun of driving factor alone!.. spending that kind of money, jegs or summit comes to mind for the reliability and return policy factor...

+1 on 351W stroker

A 408W will install just as easy and will make more power for pretty much same or less
cost as doing a 347 trying to make same power.

and the it will take NOS shot better too.

So a 408W would fit with a 94-95 GT tubular K member? Remember, this is going in an 02 GT.

And what about things like timing cover, pulley setup, heads, etc... Those I would look for stuff from a 351W, right?

Also, what do I do about power steering? Can I use the old power steering pump and pulley from my 02? Or should I look for a pump, pulley and rack from a 5.0?

Oh, and thanks for all the help so far. You guys are way more helpful than any other section I posted in. I'll definately be coming back with more questions and **** when I start to get into this project.
