its very simple, emtpy the gas tank, remove the fill neck and vent, remove the straps and either have someone help you or get a floor jack and a peice of wood to lower it down slowly, bring it down a bit the reach above and remove the wires on the top of the tank, then pull the tank out of the car, then there is just a few bolts on the top of the tank, pull the pump assembly out and replace the pump, id same you should probly replace it with a decent brand 190lph pump. wile its out make sure you replace the sock and check all the conections and wires and the lines on the pick up and stuff to make sure they all still look good, its a simple proccess took me rufly 45mins to do mine, just make sure you drain your tank frist makes it SO much easyer

Here is the link I used when I did mine:

http://neptune.spacebears.com/cars/s.../scinpump.html

I found this one too:

http://www.corral.net/tech/maintenance/fpinstall.html

Good Luck!......and yes, the wire terminals are exposed inside the tank. That scared me the first time I saw it

The only thing I did not see in the list of tools was a Fuel Line Disconnect Tool. If I recall from a couple months back I needed one on my 88 for the return line I believe. Auto zone has the universal plastic ones for 5 bucks.

Alright, Update. Pump is good, dropped the tank and ran a hot wire to it and it deffinately pumping gas.

What could this be?

Feels like my relay isnt coming on when I turn the switch but I know the relay is good, (hooked it up in one of my other foxes)

Could it be a Short? Bad Connection? Ideas?
