Door pins wont budge need HELP!!!!!
hey guys, i bought a hinge pin kit w/ bushings for my stang.
The doors were saging and def. needed them.I cant get the pins off.
I used a grinding stone, small 1 1/2" cut off wheels, and a small steel saw. They all do very little "damage" to the pins.
What tool should i be using?
Anyone who has done this can you give me some guidance?
Pics would be very helpful

RE: Door pins wont budge need HELP!!!!!
i used a cut off disk, that was air powered....it was about 2 years ago that i did this so i do not remember everything, but i do remember cutting one and driving the other one out.
if you have trouble try cutting it in half and driving the bottom part down, and the top part up
good luck man,

Did you take your door off to do it? If not, that may help, besides, I don't think it would be very easy to do it with it on.
I used a disk sander ground the end off on the bottom one and on the top one I cut it in half with a cutting wheel. Then I used an air chisle to knock them out.
Just keep working at it, they will come out.

RE: Door pins wont budge need HELP!!!!!
I just recently replaced my pass. side door pins...what a pita. We (my brother & I) got the first one out just by drilling the top center out and using a punch but for the bottom, we had no luck or the proper tools to get it out, so off came the door and eventually, the last pin.
Good luck, and I hope you find a better method...it'll be worth it in the end when you don't have to lift your doors up to make sure it closes right!
