Wow, not my area of knowledge for sure but something isn't right. You did buy a new clutch and used the same PP, right? It lust looks like the disc is being pressed against the flywheel.

This maybe a dumb question but could the clutch disc be on backwards?

that was one of my thoughts. but there is only 1 way to put the disc on. after I took it off it was on correctly.

I did use the old pressure plate and tob.

I dropped the flywheel off at the machine shop in west jacksontoday to get resurfaced and am picking it up tomorrow while I am out that way

My Spec never did that...

Just one more reason NOT to buy a centerforce!

There's nothing wrong w/ Centerforce. I will be surprised if it's the flywheel. Reason being, once the disk engages, there is no more movement in that area. If you have noise while you're driving, I would look to the t/o or the pilot bearing.

How do you know it's not the news'd tranny?

I havent driven it, therear is on jackstands. I cranked itbecause it has been sitting a month.
The noise was doing it in neutral without the clutch engaged.
I got under the car and it sounded like it was coming from bellhousing area. I had the clutch cable cover off and it looked like the clutch fork/cable was vibrating

I ordered a new tob, pilot bearing, &resurfaced flywheel, so we will see. I wont be able to work on it until tuesday evening

I thought the transmission didnt spin in neutral? well that is what I was told
