Where theheader flange connects to the H pipeis at a slight angle creating a leak, this is due to the driver side exhaust hanger is off a tad and if i bend it, I think it'll fit better. Has anyone ever used header flange to H pipe gaskets, cause I think that might seal it too?

i never have...
if you think that bending the hanger would help then do that before you spend money granted it shouldnt be much for gaskets but still it's a trip to the parts store you could possibly save

I'll try that first...Im gonna remove headers and H pipe, then install new felpro header gaskets. I cleaned heads w/ carb cleaner before install last time, but is there anything else to clean with? Iv had a problem w/ theidle dipping at startup since I installed this, but after reading exhaust leak symptoms, i didn't think it was the problem....but now I think it is. My car has NEVER died or has the idle dipped low at startup in 2 years BEFORE I installed Headers/midpipe.

i installed my own headers. had a major header leak at the mid pipe took it to local exhuast shop to tighthen it up they charged me 20 bucks leaks all gone.
