RE: COOLANT LINES GOING TO E.G.R SPACER
its called a throttle body bypass.
It eliminates the hot coolant going through the TB in hopes of cooling intake air.
But, it really isnt worth your time.
and if you live in a cold climate, your butterfly can stick sometimes from being so cold

it depends, and has been a bit debate ever since i bought my 1st 5.0 in 1990
but basically if you do an egr delete, then you can bypass the coolant and will run a little better. if you DO NOT plug the egr hole in the intake and than still bypass the coolant, you'll probably slow down.
different people have different opinions... just like a 160* stat, it's too cold and you'll run rich , but some swear by it.

I capped them off, then put the hoses back on....then I decided to cap them off again. The first time I replace the hose by firewall it took almost an hour...now i can do it in 5 minutes.
