Default flat tappet cam help!!

hello everyone i'm use to running hydraulic roller cam engines but have recently aquired a mexican 302. it has a solid flat tappet cam and i was wondering if anyone had any flat tappet cams they can suggest? Here is my planned build.
-rpm air gap intake
-570 avenger carb
-ported e7 heads that will later be changed to afr 165s
-bbk long tube headers
-o/r x pipe
-super 40s
-no front accesories except alternator and water pump.
i will be putting this into a 1986 notch mustang with a 5speed and probably 355s in the rear. car will weigh about 3000 with engine and driver, rolling on draglites. i would prefer an aggressive profile that will sound great and perform great.any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks,tyler

Just buy an ebay spider web and dog bones, get a 100 dollar set of OEM roller lifters, and a good roller cam and call it a day

a flat tappet will probably hold that setup back, but should be fine with just the E7's id upgrade to a roller setup when you get the AFR's

That alternative will limit his HR cam selection to reduced base circle cams.....

look at crane z-series and lunati voodoo cams..... and dump that 570 i had one and it did nothing but **** me off. i actually had much better luck with a regular ol' holley 600. if you have the knot, get yourself a proform 600 street series carb - you will NOT be sorry you did.

and be stuck with a reduced base circle cam and limited options...don't think so..........spend the extra for the more expensive roller lifters with link bars and open up your world of cam selections
