Throttle body, Injectors?
Sorry to repost but no one seems to go to the 351 section that often.
Its been a long time since I posted here. I am still working on my 408w project, some things came up and i had to put it on hold for a while. anyway, i am back at it and need to know what size throttle body and injectors i should get. its a supercharged 408 stroker incase you guys forgot. i have 42lb injectors and a 75mm throttle body from my 331 stroker but i am not sure if it will cut it on the 408w.

It appears that the first gen lightnings had a single 65mm TB

This was on a SC 351
1999 lightning looks to use dual 57's
Seems like your app would be hungrier than either since you have more cubes and an intake that is designed for high flow therefore I am guessing that 75mm might restrict your combo's potemtial.. I think you should get perhaps an 85mm or 90mm TB
Getting too small TB will restrict top end breathing
Getting too big TB for the max needs will loose a small bit of low speed resolution
You could err on the side of larger if worried more about power, err bit small for best off idle control
Are you using a 90mm MAF?
(area of TB opening)
single 65mm tb = 13,273
single 75mm tb = 17,671
single 80mm tb = 20,106
dual 57's comes in at 20,414
single 85mm tb = 22,698
single 90mm tb = 25,446
However the % increase in diameter does not equal the % increase in area nor flow
For example the Accufab 80mm flows about 9.3% more than their 75mm
The diameter increase was about 6.7%
The opening area increase was about 13.8%
