purge valve?

where is the purge valve on a 5.0 fox? every time I open my gas cap alot of pressure is released, its been very cold out as well... how do you know also when you need to replace the charcol canister?

follow the vaccum lines from the charcoal canister up to the intake and inline will be the purge valve

could be the check valve on the canister

how do I tell if the check valve is working right?

do they even sell the canisters anymore?

pull the line loose that goes from tank to canister and let it vent to atmosphere and see if that stops the pressure build up....not sure if they sell the canisters anymore???
