Default coming back to 5.0s

well im coming back to 5.0s after a year with a 2v. im looking at a black 87 GT 5spd with T-Tops for b/o. the owner says the car doesnt run b/c of a fuel pump issue. which his mechanic told him would cost $400 with labor. i can get the pump for $100 so im gunna do it myself. car has about 112k on it. comments are always welcome my plan is to use it as a DD and build a single turbo setup for the stock bottom end. then swap in a carb'd + n20 347

possibly somthing else is wrong? 400$ does seem a bit much

...$400 for a fuel pump at a shop could be right! ...they're getting top $$$ for the part alone! ...Can't go wrong with a Fox....post some pics!
