im_stuck_in_iraq

Hello out there, it has been quite some time since i have posted a thread. I was in the Army and was in Iraq (hence my name) but i am back now and almost done with school. Enough of that. Anyways I have a few questions. I have a 94 gt 5.0 that i would like to do some top end work intake stuff to. However, everywhere i look there are intake parts for early until 93 and 96-up! What the &%&$ is that all about?? I have found parts before but it was a couple years ago. I remember i needed an elbow or something for the throttle body piece. Why is it so different for my year?? I want the lower and upper intake throttle body all the pieces out to the cai (which i already have but if i have to replace i will). I was wondering if anybody can find anything for my year, everything all the gaskets and stuff whatever i need from lower to upper to tb to elbow. Or pieces of certain parts that work with other ones that anybody would know about would be helpful. Thanks! I just have a hard time believing that there are very few parts for my year cause its the same motor as far as i know? A 5.0 is a 5.0 i thought? Oh also i was wondering what i would need to get both wheels spinning all the time. Some times it is just one and other times it is both. Mostly its the right side though. Any comments would be appreciated thanks!

Modifying the 94-95 is pretty popular still. Tons of sites offer manifolds, throttle bodies, and whatever you want for the SN95 you must just not be looking in the right places. All you need for the manifold is an elbow adapter. Just check out some of the site sponsors I'm sure you could find plenty of stuff on their sites. I mean obviously I know lots of names of good sites, but i know I'm not supposed to say them cause i don't know if they are site sponsors lol.

Any 5.0 intake will fit it you just need an adaptor elbow. Summit, jegs or a local autoparts store should have the gaskets. It sounds like you may need a traction lock rebuild if it is only spinning one wheel at times. If you plan on running at the track alot you may want to get a Detroit locker.
