+1...
The problem isn't the lack of a chip....

Vac leak?
exhaust leak

Put some time into trouble shooting....

And why hasn't it been suggested to pull the codes?

a chip would benefit you big time. with engine modifications, people always make more power after they leave the dyno. the tuner can control so many things when he is hooked up to your car....its awesome.

Many guys have come to the forums after taking their car to a dyno shop, and reported issues.

The mistake these guys made was taking their car to be tuned while there was a hardware problem with the engine.

You can't tune broken

The car should not be that far out... regardless of tune... something is wrong, and it should be fixed before tuning...

Are there cats on the car?
Is it possible the WB is funky? Or improperly installed?

Because if you took your car to a dyno you would gain hp and every car is different take two sn95 with the same hci upgrade one might run funky and the other might not ive seen it before and i dont have a chip yet because i havent installed my heads and cam im not saying every car needs it im saying it might help him out
