yea i understand the adjustment but the end that is connected to the tranny is burnt the hell up when i blew my tranny at the track at the end of the summer and the other end that connects to the throttle where the spring is. under the plasitc casing is broken as well. all in all the cable is worthless the tranny was running fine with the semi broken cable for sometime but after some wear and tear it finally gave in. and my buddy is a tranny tech at ford and he even told me i need a new cable after he rebuilt my tranny but said it will run find for sometime but it will give way sooner of later that is why im on a search for another cable. and putting it on and adjusting it is no problem but finding the part is the big problem

O.., ok well i got mine out of a thunderbird 5.0 HO at the yard with junk because i also couldnt find 1 off a stang! took me a while but i found it at the end! well goodluck finding 1 which you eventually will!!
