im half way i realized i didn't mark my end caps to put them in the same way they came out, is there any markings or ways to tell which side is which

arrows on the caps often point outwards, but look for any markings...mine had like a chalk mark that was placed on it or look for imprintations on the bottom of the caps too and compare them to the housing surface
