hey guys i have a 83 mustang gt hatchback it has a 302 h.o bored and stroked to a 347. it has a weiand intake and edelbrock carb, stock d8oe heads, double valve springs, t-5, umm whole mallory ignition, 4.11 rearend, and a mild cam (dk the specs on anything i bought it like this) anyway im looking to get more power outta my car and wanna spend less than 2,500 and i saw the edelbrock top end kit on summit for like 1,879 part#edl-2091 and im thinking about buying it but i wanted to get your opinions first. thanks guys

I would imagine any set of alum heads would give you a very large power boost over the stockers you got on there now.
The edelbrock kit may give you more power then just a new set of heads because they make it all to opperate in the same rpm range so the cam/heads/intake will all work together. The came and valve train with the edelbrock set would also be matched up exactly which would provide more efficency and power.
