transmission issues
i have a aode auto trans and was rebuilt about 7 months ago and i have been havin problems with it fulling engaging. i have great throttle response up to half throttle and then it just seems to slip. and when i brake my brake light comes on all the time on the dash. this is the same issues i was having before i had the first rebuild.
i was think it was maybe a clogged trans filter but been reserching and found the torque convertor clutch soleniod may be a possiblity.
what do yall thihk it good be

What do you mean by slipping. Does the rpms leap up before the car moves.Your torque converter could be the culprit, but the rebuild could have been unsuccessful. With rebuilds, it can be a hit or miss situation. As for your brake light, one of the wires could have been rearranged. Does your car transmission slip if you accelerate hard from a stop? This may help:

for a while you could litteraly feel it grab and it will pull really hard then it would just let up and pick up real slow. i took it back yesterday and they said it aint the trans but maybe a sensor liek maf tps fuel system or something and im getting a code for ffuel system at rich adaptive limit at partial throttle... am losing hope and about to take it in to shope

I have the same trans and I have close to the same issue as well. My trans pulls fine from a stop and casual throttle but every know and then when I driving along and I get on the throttle it is like the cars trans doesn't seem to hook up it just revs and nothing happens and then it will hit all at once and take off no slipping it is like it stalls and then hooks up works fine. I can come to a stop and take off no issues mine only happens cruising along and then stomping on it.
