well my car is an 89...i think its the original trannny...how can i tell?

there should be a tag on it that'll have the numbers 1352-*** and if it's the original t-5 it is a world class

iight ill have to check..if it isnt the original and its a regular t-5 i cant use world class parts mjr?

unless it's an 83 or 84 you have a world class 85 started the first year of WC t-5 trannies in the 5.0 but to answer your question no you can't, non world class trannies have brass blocker rings on all gears, WC only on 5th

look for the 1352 - *** after the 1352 there will be three numbers, that'll indicate the year, post up the number and we can decifer it
