I have a 95 Gt 5 speed, it just started this problem 2 days ago, i cant start it , when i turn the key everything comes on and everything is normal but i cant get it to turn over, it sits there and clicks but its not a dead battery click, newer battery, yesterday i got in and tried starting it and it wouldnt so i try push starting it, no luck, i get back in and try starting it and it starts right up? im lost and need help!

Sounds like a bad starter or relay. Check the relay first, if not that then it is your starter.

relay is the solenoid right?

tap on your started with a rubber mallet or something to that effect then try it. If it starts it probably your starter. You can tap them and it will work but you will probably have to do it every time you want to start it so you will want to replace the starter.

Is the starter ingauging? What I mean, is the engine turning over, but no start? If the engine rotates, and you hear the starter engauging, then it's not the starter, but if all you're getting is a quick click, or a short series of clicks, then the starter is the culpriate.

I missed where you said it clicks, like jt said if it clicks its not the starter.

how do you know it's not a bad battery?? flip the lights on , are they bright??
