Can I unhook the egr?
I am trying to solve my random misfire when warm still and I got a egr code when I ran KOER. If I take the vacuum line off and cap it off and run the car would that be alright or make and difference?
Also any chance someone could walk me though deleting the emissions junk? I plan on taking off everything but the air pump, until I get a shorter belt. What can I take off and what do I have to cap?

Just look at the pump and follow everything that goes off of it.
There should be something going to your intake, something going to your mid pipe, some thing going to charcoal canister, and I don't know what else.

I am not sure if this is related or not but when the car has been driven and then turned off when restarted if you don't give it some gas it will cut out. The weird thing is if I don't give it throttle and let it die when i restart it again right away it will start and idle fine.

Not to hijack, but If you plug the vac line that goes to the EGR with a bolt or something and plug the hole in the intake will it be fine? I just pulled mine off, and i was wondering if there was more to it then that.
What can you use to plug that hole thats left in the intake?
