If one bolt is out of the control arm, take the other one out and match a bolt to that. The four upper control arm bolts are the same size. The four lower control arm bolts are the same size. However, the uppers are not the same size as the lowers.

You'll probably have a tough time finding a bolt like this in a hardware store, make sure its strong enough to handle the load. If i were you I would just get new bolts from Late Model Restoration or a similar company. Make sure you torque the bolts to provent this from happening again.

The bolt should be Grade 8 12mm-1.75 x 110mm.
A self locking flange nut and lock washer under the head of the bolt will stop that from happening again.

If its metric it wont be grade 8. Metric's equivilant is 10.9.

Its diffacult to find a 10.9 grade bolt especially at hardware stores or supply stores. Easiest place to find one is as said above, a restoration site. Now, being in Michigan you might have more luck finding metric bolts, and if not you might just hop across the border into Canada and find it.

If you have a local Fastenal store, they can get them if they don't have them in stock.

Try a car dealership also. I know at Honda we have a few big bolts like that. Im not sure why we have them though since nothing on those cars use them.
