Default Suspension questions...

Looking to replace my worn out shocks/struts as well as my springs. I have narrowed my springs down to H&R springs, and looking to lower the front 1.5"-2" and the rear 1.0"-1.5". Its my daily driver so take that into consideration lol. But I am clueless on the shocks/struts as I don't have a clue which ones to buy or where to start. I need some that are good for the street/strip performance and can handle the daily driving abuse. Adjustable would be cool, but most likely can't afford it. I am on a budget so I can't spend a ton on the shocks/struts. Let me know what you guys think and what yall are running. Thanks,

if you are lowering the car, dont bother worrying about strip performance... you will never get a good launch out of stock style mustang suspension, lowered

Are you still running stock on your Cobra? If not what are you running?

If you're looking for a better launch at the strip, but don't have a ton of money, go to the junkyard and grab a set of front springs off of a 4cyl mustang, and some Strange adjustable struts from Summit. Lakewood makes 90/10 struts for drag launch, but the Strange adjustable ones are only $10 more, and you can set them up for daily driving and adjust them to drag mode when you get to the track. There's way better setups out there, but this works pretty good considering the cost.

I'm another one for Strange 10 way adjustables... have them on my 93 all the way around, no complaints here.
