Default Need Some Help, Adjusting Solid Roller Rockers

Hey guys, i have a solid roller setup on a 347 im building for my car, i pulled a spec off comp cams that said you have to tighten it with a .018-.022 feeler gauge in between the tip and the valve, with slight drag. My concern is that when the feeler gauge is removed, there seems to be alot of play with the rocker and the pushrod. Am i supposed to go a half turn or something after i reach the lash with the feeler gauge in, or is it supposed to have that tiny bit of play, Thanks guys

No you don't go past the setting. It is suppose to have the slight amount of play (lash). They will be a little noisy. The payoff is worth it
