I was looking through my summit catalog tonight and came across the rear-end gears and was wondering what the stock diameter of the ring gears was in the 93 GT. Does anyone know the answer to this or where i can find out. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.</P>

the gt and 5.0 lx's where 8.8 rear ends. the 4cylinders was 7.5 usually

thanks guys. the reason i was asking is b/c i was planning on changing the gears in the 93 gt that i am going to get. when i went and looked at it on tuesday, i talked to the guy and he said that it already had the 3.73's in it when he bought it. so there is no need for me to change the gears now.

89muscle, i think i will pass on the 4.10's. i would like to be able to drive it somewhat comfortably as a daily driver.

lol i want 3.73. i have 3.55 and i cant stand them anymore. with the added horsepower and the drag radials, it doesnt launch hard enough.
