Not even close on a stock motor. I made 303 at the wheels on 9psi and no other mods.

How much torque though? I can't decide what I want to do. Either rebuild it and s/c it or sell it and get a 96-98 4v. I love these motors but I think I might convert to the dark side and get a modular...

Just get a Vortech. A supercharger will make decent torque. Check out my sig(just dynoed today). And those numbers are through an AODE and my injectors ran out of fuel(A/F spiked to 14:5@5600rpm!!!!!)

Those are pretty good numbers. Thats on stock rods, pistons, and crank???

And 14.5 is just a LITTLE on the lean side haha.

run 10 psi. get 30 or 42 pound injectors, a 255lph fuel pump, and a dyno tune

Thanks and Yes! Those numbers were made with stock internals and an HP robbing AODE. And as you can tell, my injectors maxed out. So there is quite a bit more power to be had. It's a good baseline for me though.

Heck, provided you have the correct fuel, you can run as much boost as you want. The problem is, with all that boost, you'd have a chance of lifting the heads and blowing a headgasket. It also depends on the pulley you run. A 6rib 3.33 pulley will not make much boost, maybe 6. But an 8rib 3.00 pulley will probably make 12psi easily. And boost is also a measure of restriction. The more restrictive parts you have, the more boost you have and vice versa. BTW, I am pumping out 16psi through my motor. Iw ould suggest you only go to 12 on a stock H/C/I car. Also, pick up an AFM powerpipe($250) for our cars. The stock supercharger air intake system is very restrictive. I picked up 6psi from just the pp.
