Battery Cable and Starter Solenoid

Battery Cable and Starter Solenoid
On the starter solenoid, the + terminal is the one closest to the firewall with almost all wires attached to it. The alternator cable hooks to the + terminal, but does the battery cable hook up to the positive terminal or the negative? Is the only wire that is hooked to the negative terminal the wire that runs to the starter itself? Got a pic?
How did you go about routing your battery cable when the battery is mounted in the rear of the car? Under the car? Inside? I'm thinking about routing it through the firewall, under the center console then under the carpet near the ebrake. From there under the seat and out to the battery box which will be in the spare tire compartment untill I do a rear seat delete, in which case it will be where the rear seats currently are.
Thanks.

Along the floorboard on the drivers side of the car, through the firewall.
That's what I've always done anyhow. The issue with the under carriage is dry rottinig and corrosion., or cracking the sheathing

Can anyone verify if the only thing on the solenoid negative is the wire running to the starter? The one that runs underneath the motor and is held in place by a bracket that shares a bolt with the engine/battery ground. Thanks.

Hiding parts in the fender? Hope you don't have to change the starter solenoid any time. :P
Looks like your battery is running to the positve terminal along with all other wires, thanks that verifies that the only negative post cable is the starter.

So if you mean soon as in the next 10-15 yrs then I think it's worth putting the solenoid under the fender.

Oh? The installation guide by PA performance for the heavier gage solenoid to alternator cable labels the one terminal as +, the one with all of the wires hooked up.
Almost stock, I never said SOON... but I guess it was unintentionally implied.
Can you get the windshield wiper fluid reservoir out through the fenderwell by removing the liner? Mine is never used as the car will never be offroading or in the salty, snowy weather.
