Rear diff fluid question

Exclamation Rear diff fluid question
Ok so I plan on getting a 3.73 gear kit from American Muscle and it comes with Royal Purple 75w90 and a Speedo Cal. I am assuming I still need to add friction modifier I just wasn't sure since I never used Royal Purple.

royal purple gear oil should be the same as "hypoid" gear oil...meaning its already included. pretty sure royal purple is designed for LSD

Call them. Lucas includes friction modifier in their oil, I would assume Royal Purple does as well.
