i recently bought an 83 vert . i put the front clip off my 89 lx as well as rear bumper and front fenders. the body molding on the front and rear bumpers are molded into the bumpers , so obviously they cant be removed. my problem is it appears as the rest of the moldings on the 89 arent glued to the body like on the 83, but pop into holes in the body.The 83 has no holes meaning i cant use that molding, but i need molding that matches the bumpers and fenders. Does some one make an 89 style molding for an 83??? Im sure some one has had this problem before ...... help please

Cut the tabs/bumps off of the back of the molding and glue it on?

yea that was my initial thought but the moldings dont look like they will sit flush up against the body to be glued ?

drill the holes??? or do like above remove the studs and use double sided tape
