Like I said, I already did an "Idle Setting Procedure," which includes checking the TPS sensor.. I appreciate the tip. But, I'm leaning towards something being "fouled" or broken.

I am convinced it's ignition related and not fuel related for me. Ive changed my stator, the TFI module was changed earlier this year (Before the stator) and now im looking to change my coil.

I'd bet your problem is more heatsoaked stuff than it is fuel related
The way that your problem IS - mine started THAT way - and now it occurs MORE than a fraction of a second. More like FIVE SECONDS now....

Have you pulled the codes yet?

Until you do it is all guesswork, which can get expensive quickly!

hahaha. I hear ya. I actually called my mechanic already (voicemail) and waiting for him to tell me has the right equipment. My next update will be after a mechanic runs codes and makes sure my sensors are working properly!!

Its going into the shop this Monday. He said he had a snap-on brand machine, and he thinks its a broken valve spring or bad cam. I'm leaning towards a bad valve spring - if I were to pick one of the two..haha. I told him to check for codes and to make sure ALL sensors are working. We'll see what happens.

Well a quick scan from your local parts store would do that and they'll do it on the spot for free. I'll garuntee you, if you have a autozone or similar larger parts store they have an OBD-1 Ford scanner.

you can pull the codes with a paper clip. gotta count the flashes but...........it's free. you can even pull the chart of what they mean off the internet. I sprung for the haynes manual though.........great thing to have around.

I mean I still strongly believe that no codes will be found, because my check engine light is not on.

He's going to check all sensors and do a compression test.
